Custom WordPress E-commerce site for celebrity chef Alex Guarnaschelli, featuring dynamic recipe filtering and mobile-first layout.
Celebrity chef Alex Guarnaschelli website we designed and developed on WordPress with custom code, combining a WooCommerce shop selling her recipe books as well as her custom kitchen items and a structured recipes library powered by a dedicated Recipes custom post type. The design leans into playful flat-lay food photography that feels like a real working kitchen, with a color palette pulled from elements in Alex’s own home kitchen design for a personal, lived-in feel.
Recipes support embedded videos and direct links to her cookbooks in the shop, making it easy for fans to cook along and purchase. The footer features a collage-style Instagram feed that brings her day-to-day cooking and media moments onto the site, while mobile-friendly templates make recipes easy to follow on phones and tablets, and Gravity Forms handles contact capture.
